Installing Subversion 1.5.1 on a shared host

 
 
I want to create repositories on my shared hosting account at BlueHost, and access them with TortoiseSVN
 
A Google search yielded these results:
 
I followed the recipes, and kept getting errors; then I looked closer at the code. Both instructions misspelled "berkeley-db" as "berlekey-db" and ended in errors.
 
Joe Maller has already updated the code on the page from the first link...
 
I also added the "--without-serf" flag in the final step as suggested.
 
I used PuTTY for SSH
